The guys at Bama News have agreed to run a contest to give away a free limited edition print of my Bear Bryant painting today. You just have to visit their Facebook page and drop a guess at the final score of tonight’s Bama v. Michigan game plus Eddie Lacy’s total yards as a tie breaker.
The contest ends at kick off.
Good Luck!

We had a really great auction for the first ten prints in the edition back in July. All of the prints sold out in about 20 minutes, and we had a great crowd.
Now that the season is just around the corner, I’m releasing the next 20 prints in the edition to the public. Here are the details:
Total Edition Size: 100
Cost: $40/ea
Medium: Digital CMYK on linen-pressed paper
When: Thursday, Aug 23rd; 10 am CST
This will not be an auction. The prints will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Half the prints will be sold in my Etsy shop, and the other half will go up on my site with payments processed through PayPal.
The printed area is 11”x14” on a 12”x18” cut sheet. These are professional reproductions of my own original art. They are sized to be easily framed.
The links will go up on Thursday morning.
“Bearing Crimson” is a portrait of University of Alabama coaching legend Paul “Bear” Bryant. The first ten prints of the edition (of 100 total prints) will be released through Tophatter. It’s an auction format, so you have to be present at the time of release to get one (9 pm CST).
You can RSVP here.
Each print is signed, dated, titled, numbered and embossed at the studio by the artist.
Today, I got to see the proof for the new piece I’m releasing next Tuesday night. This will be my biggest edition to date, weighing in at 100 prints. The first ten prints in the edition will be sold via Tophatter. Anyone can register and sit in on the auction, and maybe get an early print at a good price.
The remaining 90 prints will be sold at a date yet to be determined.

Digital CMYK print on 220 gsm linen-pressed paper. Each print comes titled, numbered, signed, dated and embossed.
In-progress image of a commissioned piece I’m currently doing for some Bama football fans. The colors are more vibrant than I’d originally planned, but I like them so I’m going to ride it out and see what happens.
There will be a limited edition released of this art in the coming weeks. It’s going to be offered to an alumni group first, and the remaining prints will go on my site.
Some other finished pieces are here.
