Sign. Stamp. Repeat. Preppery for next week’s Blue Dome Art Festival in Tulsa, OK.
I’ll be secretly phasing out some pieces of art over the next two weeks, so that’s that. You won’t even notice.
If you’re around Tulsa, the festival is downtown from 11am-10pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday.
I’ve listed the 18”x24” archival prints of the complete Arrested Development series in my shop. For any holdouts, the wait is over. There are literally just a few of each left. Click the image to view/buy. If they’re no longer listed in the section, they’re sold out. Sorry.
Sales over the past few months have fueled an intense tree planting project to green up our space. This is our 7th addition with a few more planned this summer.
This Yoshino Cherry tree is going right outside the door to the studio, where I can see it from my drafting table.
At least some of the art money goes back into the ground.
If you follow my Tumblr, you might be thinking, “what happened to that Louis CK art I saw a few months ago?”
I dug it out this week hoping to finish it off in time for some upcoming festivals. It nearly had me stumped for a second time, but I think I’ve solved it finally.
Here is a progress shot of the tiny section I’ve been staring at for the past 8 hours.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Cinco de Mayo print contest on Tumblr! The winner has been contacted.
For everyone else, I have a $5/off coupon I’ve added if you had your heart set on one of the prints to celebrate the holiday. Just enter “CINCO” during your purchase to receive the discount.
The coupon is set to expire on May 5th.
You’ll know it when you see it.
(Contest winner announced at noon CST)
The contest ends tomorrow. To enter, reblog my Tumblr post from Friday. A winner will be selected tomorrow to receive a free Day of the Dead art print from my store.
Day of the Dead Print Giveaway
So, Cinco de Mayo sort of crept up on me this year, and I’m scrambling to do something fun. I’ve settled on trying a give away on Tumblr (my first).
Here’s how easy it is to get in:
1. Share this post in your Tumblr feed.
2. Perform various “good luck” rituals.
3. Check back on April 30th to see if are a lucky duck.
The winner will get a 12”x18” Day of the Dead art print from my shop shipped out for free, just in time for America’s favorite beer/taco holiday.
There is one restriction, unfortunately. This contest is available to US residents only.
You can see the whole Day of the Dead collection here. If you’re not the type to risk it, you can just buy one (or all).
I literally couldn’t think up an easier way to get free art, so good luck!
Christmastime at the studio! Poster sized arrested development prints!!!
They’ll be for sale (right after I frame mine).
